Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Mon, 3 Aug 2015

Interviewed null -1
After a phone screening was called into interview with a person in HR. At the end of the interview I was asked to answer a few questions and submit a short writing sample for a question they provided. Afterwards I interviewed with people from the team I'd be working with and had to prepare a ten minute presentation for a topic they provided. Once again at the end of the interview I was asked to submit a writing sample of what my understanding of the job would be and why I'd be good at it. Be prepared for a relatively long interview process and several writing samples.

Difficult Interview – Overall Negative Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Thu, 10 Sep 2015

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Westwood, MA(took 3 days)
There were 3 separate interviews over the course of about 3 months, which to me was excessive for such a low paying entry level position. In any event, the first interview is fairly standard, and done with a recruiter. Basic questions about your work history. At the end you have to submit a writing sample. The second interview is with a group they are looking to place you with. For this interview, you may need to do a presentation on a healthcare topic. This was awkward, but is done so they can analyze your presentation skills. This interview was longer, and more focused on why you would be a good fit for the group. The third interview was with a very high up person at the company. It was formal, but not intimidating. Maybe a half hour long, one on one. Just basic questions, more of a conversation really than an interview.

Interview Questions
I was asked to explain what the company is and does as I understand it. Luckily I had memorized the "what we do' or "who we are' blurb on the website.

Very Easy Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Thu, 17 Sep 2015

Interviewed Jul 2015(took 28 days)
Got a phone call from HR, only asked questions about my status (I'm an international student on F1 visa). Then she said they will contact me in a week or so. So they did, with email even without subject line, simply saying something like we cannot offer you an interview this time, blah, blah, blah... So I was declined, the HR person didn't ask any questions regarding my background and skills that related to job description. It just gives me a feeling that they don't really hire F1 visa graduates. Of course I emailed back to ask if they could provide some feedback, as you can imagine, no reply so far.

Interview Questions
1. What's your visa status? 2. Do you need sponsorship in future to work for Meditech? 3. We'll contact you in a week or so.

Average Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Tue, 22 Sep 2015

Interviewed Jan 2015 in Framingham, MA(took 20 days)
Long process, several interviews. First interview was 1:1 with recruiting. Took several weeks to get 2nd interview due to schedules. This was a panel type of interview with several people. They required a short presentation on any topic I wanted related to health care. It was not that bad. I then met with someone higher up in management. There is no wiggle room in what they offer you, you either take it or you don't. I knew this going in so it was not a shock.

Interviewed Jun 2013 in Framingham, MA(took 21 days)
Got a phone call from a recruiter after sending in my resume. He did a quick interview before scheduling for an in person interview. It seems they interview a lot of people everyday, which calls into question the actual percentage of people who get offers. Interviewer was nice and easy to talk to. Asked very standard questions: some behavioral and some life goal questions. Afterwards I was given an essay question so they can have a writing sample.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Sun, 8 Nov 2015

Interviewed null -1(took 25 days)
Started off with the basic HR interview, then moved to a testing phase where they tested analytical skills and troubleshooting then there was an interview with the director of that department. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. She asked more personality oriented questions and stress related questions.

Interview Questions
During the HR phase, questions like why I would be a great fit for their company, etc… During the testing phase, there were more analytical questions, i.e.: "1,3,5,7,… What comes next" type question? They were probing the analytical skills an dhow you process information. Then the interview with the director was more personality and stress related questions. Such as "How would you handle a stressful situation with a client?"

Very Easy Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Tue, 8 Dec 2015

Interviewed Jun 2014 in Westwood, MA(took 1 days)
Interview process was ok, It was the recruiting department that needed help. One of the very first questions that I was asked during my phone interview was if I was ok with the salary because there was no negotiating. I was then given the change to think about it overnight and call back in a day to let them know my answer. I was not aware until the in person interview that they required a 2 year commitment. The person that I interviewed with was very nice and was very informative.

Interview Questions
The interviewer asked questions pertaining to my experience and my comfort level handling tasks. I was asked about how I would handle certain situations and that is when we started talking about career paths and how the business handled promotions from within. The interviewer then told me that there was a 2 year commitment and that there were no promotions available until I met that criteria. There were also no increases during this time. As a company i do know that they treat their employees very well, however locking yourself in to starting from the bottom for 2 years was a bit much to ask of someone, especially by not giving this information during the phone interview.

Average Interview – Overall Negative Experience – Yes, but I declined – Fri, 1 Jan 2016

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Framingham, MA(took 42 days)
In all, the interview process took about 5 weeks for two interviews. I had a training position before in a different industry so I was overqualified for the position. I read the reviews on here so I knew what to expect going in. Just tell them what they want to hear and answer questions with compound answers so that way you also respond to upcoming questions which will cut down the length of time you'll be in there. If you give them any reason to ask more questions then they'll just keep going and won't stop. I pretty much took control of the first interview since it was pretty basic and I knew how to answer the questions. On my second interview, since I didn't study sciences or healthcare in college, I did a presentation for a manager in that department which related to my earlier job experiences in healthcare. Later that week they offered me the position but at an $8K reduction from my previous position, which was their top offer and it was non-negotiable. I took a similar position with AthenaHealth which paid considerably more by the time they offered the position.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – Yes, and I accepted – Fri, 22 Jan 2016

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Atlanta, GA(took 60 days)
It was a long process taking about 3 months total. You meet with a recruiting staff member for the first interview, then meet with the management team of the group that is looking to hire you for the second interview.

Interview Questions
They were situational questions. If you were in a certain situation, how would you react or handle the situation. Questions related to handling disagreements with co-workers or other difficult situations you might experience at work.

Difficult Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – Yes, but I declined – Wed, 27 Jan 2016

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Minnetonka, MN(took 30 days)
First round phone interview. Went over my resume so that I could explain everything in more detail. Answered general interview questions. She also went over compensation and travel requirements (50% of the year spent traveling). She asked me to come in for an in-person interview with the team manager the following week. The in-person interview required a prepared presentation on a healthcare topic so they can get a gauge of your presenting skills. After the presentation it was basically the same question/answer format as the phone interview. Final interview was on the phone again, with yet another person, asking the same questions. Interview process was a little over the top, especially since it's just for an entry level position. I was told the salary would be "about" $40,000/year.

Average Interview – Overall Positive Experience – No – Mon, 8 Feb 2016

Interviewed Nov 2015(took 28 days)
Long interview process. First was an interview with HR, followed by an in-person interview with the manager of the implementation team. During this interview, I was asked to prepare a 10 minute presentation in order to demonstrate my abilities as a teacher/presenter. Overall, this was a 2 hour interview with the last 15 minutes spent answering an essay question on how I saw the role of an implementation specialist at Meditech. Last interview was a phone interview with the director of implementation. This was very laid back and more informational on their side of things.

Difficult Interview – Overall Neutral Experience – No – Wed, 9 Mar 2016

Interviewed Nov 2015 in Atlanta, GA(took 7 days)
Interview process is somewhat ordinary. Had a phone interview, sort of talked about the position, then came in the office for an interview. The process is around 3 hours. First hour and a half, they make you take a test, using their code, and it can get really confusing. You can't study for it, just know basic programming concepts. Then interview with the recruiter.

Average Interview – Overall Negative Experience – No – Wed, 30 Mar 2016

Interviewed Feb 2016 in Framingham, MA(took 42 days)
I applied online and was called by a recruiter a few days later. The call is somewhat of an impromptu interview. She asked what I knew about the company and if I was okay with relocating, travel, salary, etc. I was then asked to come to Framingham and interview. I had to prepare a 10 minute presentation on either mobile technology in healthcare, meaningful use, or the ARRA/HITECH ACT. The presentation is relaxed and I was only asked how long did it take me to work on the presentation. The interview itself was with two supervisors and went well. . At the end, I was asked to for a writing sample. Since the interview went well, they brought in an AVP to interview me as well. This interview was more relaxed and more about Meditech & Boston. My recruiter mentioned that upper management comes in only if they like you so I left the interview confident. Within a week, I was told that my background/education check was done and I should call back in a few weeks to see "when each team would receive start dates". A few weeks later, I was surprised when I got call a saying that the team I interviewed with decided to go with another candidate but a different team wanted to interview me. I discontinued with the process as I already had another offer from one of their competitors. I am giving a negative experience for three reasons. 1) The impromptu phone interview. Be prepared. 2) I had to pay to fly out for the interview. Not a big deal but for a traveling position, you would think that they would pay. Apparently, it is company policy not to pay for interviews & relocation. 3) The whole "start dates" thing. They should have been better with communication.
